Yesterday I was introduced to the work of an incredibly talented glass artist – Tom Moore . Tom’s work is a little quirky – well, maybe a LOT quirky [...] I’m in for a challenge! I have joined a group run by artist Sylvie Lansdowne called ‘Finding Your Voice As A Glass Bead Maker, and today is the first day of my little groups assignments! Just to make things interesting I’m going to have to switch back to my hothead until my new oxycon arrives, but hopefully [...] One of my favourite places to hang out on the internet is the ‘Newbie Thread’ on the Wet Canvas forum, its morphed from the original idea of a place to post worksheets for a group of lampwork newbies to work on, to a wonderful little community within the Wet Canvas forum.
